Attn: Cells are FACTORY tabbed2. 10' Tabbing wire .............................$2 value 3. 2x 6-AMP 6A 1000V BLOCKING DIODES FOR SOLAR CELL PANEL................................ $4 value Dear Visitor, Welcome to EvergreenWorld, your one-stop shop for DIY Solar Panel projects! Here at EvergreenWorld, our goal is to provide clean, renewable energy at a price that is affordable to everyone. Our business not only helps you save money on your electric bill but also helps protect the environment by providing a clean, renewable and emission-free source of energy . Whether you are a beginner in the Solar Cell world, an educator that wishes to spread the use of alternative energy, or someone who regularly builds panels, we provide many different options to fulfill all of your DIY needs. Grades - Whole B-Grade - In our store, you can find a variety of grades of solar cells. All of the solar cells that we sell are factory pre-tabbed so tabbing them together becomes relatively simple. For the avid Solar Panel enthusiast or hardened DIY veteran, there are Whole B-grade Solar Cells - These are solar cells that are have slight staining or a very tiny, almost invisible chip on the edge of the solar cell. They are called B-grade because as soon as an A-grade solar cell is tabbed, it is called B-grade.
- Split B-Grade -For those seeking power at a more affordable price, we offer the Split B-grade Solar Cells. These are solar cells that have either a hairline horizontal crack or is split through the length of the cell. In both cases the power output is almost exactly the same as a non-damaged cell. Furthermore, once the Split B-grade Solar Cells are tabbed together and encapsulated into a solar panel, it is almost impossible to distinguish that the cell is damaged at all. Split B-grade Solar Cells are the best deal for your money!
- Chipped B-Grade - For educators of the solar cell panel-building process, those seeking a means to practice making a panel, or people who are simply on a tighter budget, there is the Chipped B-grade Solar Cells. This grade of solar cells is given its name due to fact that one of the four corners of the cell is chipped off. All of the Chipped B-grade Solar Cells that we offer are fully functional and have at least %85 of the cell still intact. For further description of what Chipped B-grade Solar Cells look like, refer to the pictures provided in each listing - a picture is worth a thousand words.
- Short-Tabbed - All of the solar cells that we provide are factory pre-tabbed. What this means is that the height of the cell has tabbing wire already soldered onto the cell. Although most of the cells we provide have 3 inches of tabbing wire (from the edge) in order to connect to the next cell, we also offer cells that have clipped tabs. Solar cells that have clipped tabs are referred to as Short-Tabbed cells. All of the Short-Tabbed cells that we offer have about a quarter of an inch or more of tabbing wire (from the edge) in order to solder the additional 3” onto it. Please read each listing carefully to see if the order is for Short-Tabbed Cells or Full Length Tabbed Cells.
